While Christopher was here visiting, I took him hiking out to Nex crick to see the walrus bones and the beach, and Mark borrowed us his 4-wheeler one day after school, so we went out to RoseMary, near the hotsprings. It turned out to be a colder day than I expected, and I had to take breaks to warm up my hands. It was really beautiful out though, and Christopher got to see the area more. The crick we crossed was just starting to ice up. On the way back we saw an owl and got to see the sun starting to set over the mountains. We were back just in time....any longer and I would have been really cold! I didn't feel like driving in the dark, either.
